The term of the present Executive Committee members will end at the conclusion of the annual general meeting which is expected to be held in early July this year. You are invited to run the election of Executive Committee members to be held at the forthcoming annual general meeting.

Under the Alumni’s Articles of Association, to be eligible for election as an Executive Committee member, the candidate must
(a) be a Voting Member (i.e. an Ordinary Member other than one who at the relevant time, is a student of the School) of the Alumni;
(b) be nominated by two Voting Members; and
(c) consent to be elected as as Executive Committee member.
In addition, the law prohibits any person below the age of 18 from acting as an Executive Committee member of the Alumni.

A form of nomination has been uploaded to the Alumni’s web site at www.bhjsalumni.com. Interested parties may download the form for completion. To be effective, completed nomination forms should reach the Alumni’s registered office at 2C, Oxford Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong before 5pm, Friday, 8 June 2012. To ensure prompt processing of your nomination form, please mark the envelop with “2012 Executive Committee Election – Nomination form”.
